Beginning October 1, 2023, Benton County property owners have the option to register to receive email alerts when documents are recorded against their personal name, business, or parcel ID. A user needs to setup an alert for each name or PID they want to monitor. Users are able to set up multiple alerts, however, each alert may contain only one name, business name or parcel ID.
Once an alert is triggered, the program will send out an email providing an update of any activity. This will occur the morning following the alert trigger. Please note that we are working on entering historical documents into our Land Records system so there is a chance you may receive an email pertaining to one of these entries.
To register, visit the Recorder’s page under the Land Services Department on the Benton County website at https://www.co.benton.mn.us/241/Recorders-Office. Once on the Recorder’s page, click on Land Notification in the green section on the left.
Subscribers will need a Google or Yahoo.com email account to register, however, once registered you can have the alert sent to any email address you choose.
